&Tradition Tripod HM8 Hvidt & Mølgaard 19530 out of 5Tripod from 1953 reflects the clean minimalism of Old Masters Hvidt & Mølgaard. A floor lamp built from lacquered steel with brass details, it strikes a delicate balance between the stark simplicity of its design and the softness injected by the curved edges of its base. Although it was designed in 1953, this is the first time it’s in production.

BY ARNE JACOBSEN
With the Bellevue Lamp, Danish architect and designer Arne Jacobsen embodies the minimalism of the Modernist Movement with the functionalism of Bauhaus. Viewed as the driving force behind Danish Modernism, Jacobsen’s preference for graceful lines and simple, organic forms are readily recognisable in the Bellevue Lamp.
The re-launch of this iconic lamp involves a return to the original Bellevue shape in three styles: the floor lamp, desk lamp and wall lamp. To enhance their appeal in a contemporary setting are new colours and a mix of materials: satin polished brass, black with brass, anthracite with brace and versions mixing ivory or grey beige with brass. –

Northern Oslo Wood by Ove Rogne flere farger0 out of 5
Set the mood for style with Oslo Wood, a trendy floor lamp with a tripod base and multi-directional shade. The shade rotates around a gimbal fastened to the top of the tripod, giving it the potential to angle light in any direction. The cloth shade projects light upward, yet also diffuses it through the fabric to create a soft glow.
The designer recalls how Oslo Wood reminds him of urban light filtering through trees growing around the city centre. As the light is softened by the shade, it resembles the warm glow of city lights on a dark winter night, which have been diffused upward through tree branches to illuminate the sky. While Oslo Wood’s adjustable shade sets it apart from many other floor lamps, its streamlined, contemporary style aligns it with other leading lighting designs.

Eclipse lamp table0 out of 5
A fascinating lamp, design icon since it introduced the permanent collection of the MoMa of New York. The Eclipse lamp simplicity and cleverness are amazing. You can change both its shape and its inclination to make it unique. Eclipse is great is any interior design style. A must-have lamp.
A scheming and attractive lamp. Manufactured from a single plastic band rolled up on it, the structure can be manipulated to change the form and the orientation of the light. The metal arches are equipped with small plastic parts making possible to uphold the lamp in various positions. The Eclipse lamp is delivered in a flat pack, similar to a “pizza box”.
AI believe that the work of a designer must be good quality, beautiful and affordable. With the Eclipse lamp I overcame the trauma of expensive design. I want design pieces to be popular.”
Since 2006 the Eclipse lamp has been part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art of New York (MoMA).

Northern Birdy floor by Birger Dahl 19520 out of 5
Birdy is a table, wall and floor lamp series designed in 1952, in a modernist style. The lamp series was produced and sold by the Norwegian electricity company Sønnico (Oslo) for many years. In 1954 the table lamp, then known as “s-30016” was awarded the highly esteemed Golden Medal at the Milan triennale.
In 2013 Northern decided to re-launch this design classic, taking care to preserve the original shape and highly functional features that at first made it such a well–loved light. The lamp series is available in off-white or matt grey colour with satin nickel finish and matt black colour with brass metal finish. To commemorate the centenary of Dahl’s birth in 1916, a new version of Birdy table is available in the colour Marsala, produced in a numbered series.
